Tangadee Project – Ashburton, Western Australia

The Tangadee Project is a large greenfields exploration asset covering ~540 km² in the Ashburton region of WA’s Capricorn Orogen. The Project is prospective for both sediment-hosted copper-zinc and magmatic copper-nickel sulphide systems, with robust geophysical targets already defined.

HIGHLIGHTS

Location & Tenure

  • Ashburton region, Western Australia.
  • Three granted exploration licences: E52/4411, E52/4439 and E52/4413.
  • Total area covering ~540 km² in a major mineral belt.

Geology & Mineralisation

Tangadee straddles the contact between the Edmund and Collier Basins, intersected by the east-trending Mount Vernon Fault and associated structural splays. This architecture is considered highly prospective for both sediment-hosted Cu-Zn and magmatic Cu-Ni mineralisation.

Exploration highlights

  • VTEM survey data completed across the project area.
  • Multiple late-time EM anomalies identified, indicating potential sulphide accumulations.
  • Targets correlate with major structural intersections and prospective intrusives.

Exploration Status

Tangadee is in the early exploration phase, with historical work confirming system fertility. Modern datasets provide refined drill targets for upcoming campaigns.

Planned Activities

  • Integrate VTEM survey data with local geophysical and geological datasets to evaluate mineralisation potential.
  • Conduct targeted MLEM surveys over key VTEM anomalies, optimising parameters for maximum subsurface resolution.
  • Update 3D geological models using geochemical assays, structural mapping, and geophysical results.
  • Drill test top-priority targets, guided by refined models.
